Wow something done in a movie that you can actually do makes me feel like a superhero yay Astral projection. What kind of weird human hasnt seen the shinning 🤷🏻‍♀️. He starts off as lloyd, very calm laid back. Then gets more and more sinister and finally goes full jack. Best part of this movie was her hat. I really like the idea of them casting real actors in these roles as opposed to digitally de-aging their original actors or doing a CG mock-up. Its almost as if Dans age and trauma has warped his memory of his younger self, his parents, and Dick, and yet the true enemy, The Overlook, looks exactly the same. Its like the hotel is the most pervasive element of his life, beyond his parents and Dick. I hope it's more like the book and I hope they use references from Edgar Allan Poe The Masque of the Red Death. Do you think they'll be references towards it ? Or do you think they'll have references are Easter eggs relating to the bug hearts of Atlantis.

My supervisor told me about this movie today. so glad they're making it. Not only did she get inside Rose's mind but also she wouldn't let her leave? Damn. They are releasing a 3hr director's cut. This part scared me. It's always great watching two different villains from different parts of the same series having a showdown. This scene was great.

When Rose astral projects across the night sky in silence except for the slow heart beat creeped me out. Very reminiscent of the eerie moments in The Shining.
